how we work

In most cases, we will recommend that a Site Appraisal is carried out. This is a key stage of the process as it dictates the future strategy and can help to avoid abortive work.

Project Management

According to the scale and complexity of the project, a planning submission may require input from a number of external sources:

  • Archaeological assessment
  • Architect's plans
  • Contamination report
  • Ecological appraisal
  • Flood risk assessment
  • Landscape assessments and schemes
  • Noise and Air Quality assessment
  • Transport Assessment
  • Tree surveys

We will brief suitable consultants or work with your preferred team to co-ordinate the necessary assistance and advice.

Our Fees

Mosaic will provide a written proposal setting out the tasks involved and our anticipated fees.

For specific short-term tasks such as a Site Appraisal, a fixed cost may be agreed and we will invoice on completion.

For longer term projects with several stages, a budget ceiling will be agreed (based on specified hourly fee rates) which will not be exceeded without prior agreement, and invoices will be payable monthly.
